1. Service Agreement: By engaging the services of Babysitters on the Coast , clients agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herin.
2. Booking and payment: Clients must book babysitting services in advance through Babysitters on the Coast Agency designated platform or telephone. All booking forms are to be completed by the parent before the commencement of any booking. The booking deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Regular clients who have established a recurring booking schedule may be exempt from booking fees, subject to Agency approval.
Regular Client: A regular client is defined as someone who has booked our babysitting services at least once within the last 2 months. Regular clients may qualify for benefits such as waived booking fees for subsequent bookings.
New Client: New clients are those who do not meet the criteria of regular clients as defined above.

3. Cancellation Policy: Clients must notify the Agency/Babysitter of any cancellations or changes to bookings within 24hrs notice of the commencement of the booking. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of full payment.
4. Babysitter Assignments: Babysitters on the Coast will make every effort to match clients with suitable babysitters based on experience, availability, preferences and specific requirements outlined by the client. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific babysitter for any given booking.
5. Babysitter Conduct: Babysitters provided by the Agency are expected to adhere to professional standards at all times, including punctuality, reliability, and appropriate conduct. Clients should report any concerns regarding a babysitter's behaviour to the Proprietor.
6. Child Safety and Security: Babysitters on the Coast prioritises the safety and well-being of the children under our care. Babysitters are required to follow safety protocols and guidelines provided by the client and agency, including emergency procedures and household rules.
7. Liability: While Babysitters on the Coast takes every precaution to ensure the quality and reliability of our services, we cannot be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that may occur during the provision of babysitting.
8. Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their child's needs, medical conditions, allergies, and any other relevant details. Clients must also ensure that their home environment is safe and suitable for babysitting services. For outings or outdoor activities, clients are responsible for providing appropriate sun protection, such as suncream and hats, as well as water bottles to keep children hydrated throughout the duration of the activity. Babysitters are only permitted to transport children if the vehicle used has appropriate documentation, meets safety standards, and is approved by the agency. Car seats must be provided and fitted by parents to ensure the safety of children during transportation. Clients will incur an additional cost per kilometer for transportation services, as specified by the agency. Babysitters are required to hold relevant and up-to-date licenses and Insurance for driving, in compliance with local regulations. For water play activities, such as swimming or water parks, clients must provide appropriate swimwear, towels, and any necessary safety equipment and notify the babysitters of the childs swimming/water abilities. During water-related activities babysitters are responsible for providing vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the children under their care. They must maintain constant visual contact with the children and be prepared to intervene immediately in case of any potential risks or emergencies. Parents should communicate any specific water safety rules or concerns to the babysitter beforehand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the children. Clients are responsible for providing any necessary meals or snacks for their children during the babysitting period. Babysitters may assist with meal preparation and feeding according to the client's instructions. Clients should communicate any dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences to the babysitter in advance to ensure appropriate food choices. Babysitters are not responsible for providing or purchasing food unless otherwise agreed upon with the client.
9. Confidentiality: Babysitters on the Coast respects the privacy of our clients and their families. Babysitters are required to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or sensitive information disclosed during the course of their duties.
10. Feedback and Complaints: The Agency welcomes feedback from clients regarding our services. Any complaints or concerns should be addressed promptly to the Proprietor.
