Meet Our Babysitting Team

 At Babysitters on the Coast, we take pride in having a diverse and dedicated team of babysitters who are committed to providing safe, reliable, and caring support for families. Our babysitters are carefully selected to ensure they have the appropriate skills, certifications, and personal qualities needed to provide a high standard of care. 

Qualifications and Certifications:
Our babysitters hold essential certifications, including current First Aid and CPR training. Each babysitter also holds a valid Blue Card, confirming their suitability to work with children. To support child safety and family confidence, babysitters may also undergo additional background checks as part of our screening process. 

Experience and Expertise:
Our team includes babysitters with a range of experience, backgrounds, and skills. Some are qualified childcare professionals with years of hands-on experience, while others bring valuable personal, educational, or family-based experience. We value this diversity, as it allows families to be matched with babysitters who suit their needs, preferences, and the type of care required.

Public Liability Coverage: 

 While not mandatory for all babysitters, some team members choose to hold Public Liability Insurance for added protection. Families may request a babysitter with Public Liability Insurance where this is preferred, and we will do our best to accommodate this request where available. 

Personalised Care and Meet & Greet Service

We understand that every family has different needs, routines, and priorities when it comes to childcare. During the booking process, families are welcome to let us know if they prefer a babysitter with particular qualifications, experience, or Public Liability Insurance.

We also offer a Meet & Greet service for families who would like to meet a babysitter before confirming care. This gives parents and children the opportunity to become familiar with the babysitter, ask questions, discuss routines, and feel more comfortable before the booking takes place. Meet & Greets can be booked through our website and are subject to staff availability.
